Important Note
The Food and Environmental Hygiene Department publishes an order in the Government Gazette annually; the usage period of public cemeteries is six years. Human remains that have been buried in graves for more than six years must be exhumed or cremated.
*Applications for burial plots in public cemeteries in the outlying islands must obtain a supporting letter issued by the local Rural Committee in advance, as well as the original and one copy of a statutory declaration made by the legal representative or next-of-kin of the deceased.

Private Cemetery Fees
Permanent Burial Plot Fees: ranging from HK$21,600 to HK$280,000
Although private cemeteries are higher in price, they offer permanent burial plots with comprehensive facilities.
Open Tomb Construction
According to BMCPC regulations, an approved contractor must be engaged to construct a burial vault within the grave plot prior to burial in a permanent lot, in order to prevent future ground subsidence. Yan Fook’s professional team adheres to rigorous construction standards, custom-designing and building suitable vaults for each plot to fully enhance safety and durability:
Anti-Subsidence Prevention
Foundation construction and structural reinforcement are carried out by the Yan Fook team to stabilize soil support, ensuring long-term stability of the grave and preventing subsidence.

Clear Boundary Delineation
Precisely delineate the grave boundaries in accordance with regulations to prevent future construction from affecting adjacent graves and to ensure clear boundaries.

Water Accumulation Prevention
Design drainage systems to promote air circulation, keeping the grave dry and clean while reducing moisture accumulation.
