What is burial?
Burial is a traditional funeral practice (commonly known as "funeral method" in mainland China) that involves placing the remains of ancestors in a coffin and burying them in the ground, fulfilling the concept of "peace in the earth" and the ritual requirements. The burial process includes:
Choosing a burial plot
Preparing the coffin
Funeral
Complete burial
Burial is both a continuation of traditional culture and a place for future generations to pay their respects.

Hong Kong Cemetery Selection
1. Public cemetery graves
With land resources becoming increasingly scarce, the Hong Kong government is promoting environmentally friendly funeral options, including:
Scattering ash at sea
Ashes scattered in the memorial garden
Online memorial services
These methods are environmentally friendly and economical, and are gradually being accepted by more and more families.
Factors to consider when choosing burial
1. Geographical location:
The accessibility of cemeteries and burial plots from the family's residence.
2. Facilities of the management organization:
Are the services and facilities provided by the cemetery adequate?
3. Facilities of the management organization:
Choose the appropriate cemetery type based on your budget.

Our recommendations:
• Family members should visit the cemetery in person to understand the actual situation.
• Contact the cemetery office or funeral service representative for more details.
