When the deceased and his/her family do not have a specific religious background,

will arrange a Protestant funeral service for the deceased.

Although there is no restriction on the rituals of the funeral, the whole process is equally solemn.

Points for consideration

Paradise offers a wide range of choices and prices to suit the wishes of the deceased and the needs of the family.

Before choosing a service plan, families can consider the following points to select the most suitable service plan

1

Venue

The family can first decide where they wish the funeral service will be held. There are two options: at the mortuary or the funeral parlors.

There are a number of hospitals or public mortuaries that provide a comfortable room to conduct the service. Even when there is not a room, most of the hospitals or public mortuaries also have a semi-opened area to do so. With limited equipment and available time, mostly a short and simple service can be held there.

Churches and funeral parlors are well-equipped and are located in different parts of Hong Kong, Kowloon and the New Territories, each with its own unique characteristics. There are different prices for offering or rent, please call us for more details.

3

Funeral Forms

As there is no specific religious ceremony to be performed at the funeral, the family can decide on the form of the funeral, such as a gathering of relatives and friends or a memorial service. At the memorial service, the family may set up a memorial corral, show a video on the life of the deceased, deliver a eulogy, or play a musical tribute, depending on the facilities of the venue. In addition, incense or flowers can be offered according to the needs of different religions in the family, so as to bring comfort to all family members.

2

Casket

The family can decide which casket to choose from four aspects: shape, material, color and decoration, each with its own meaning and characteristics. When the family comes to discuss the details of the funeral, they can see the actual coffin in person. If there is a special request, we will quote the price on the spot so that the family can choose the coffin according to their needs.

4

Venue Design

Different venues have different restrictions, such as the number of plaques that can be accommodated and certain fixed furnishings. Families can ask us about our design services and what we can achieve, and our design team will try our best to make the venue more cozy and comfortable in accordance with the deceased's preferences and the family's wishes.
